2017 Oscars Red Carpet Special #CAGstyle Fashion Police

Welcome to the 2017 Academy Awards Red Carpet special. This is CAGstyles edition of Fashion Police, follow me and my anonymous panel as we breakdown all the glitz and glam from the most prestigious movie awards on earth.

So lets find out who nailed it and who in an attempt to make a fashion statement, failed to impress us.
Our first look is non other than the gracious Cookie Lyon herself, Miss Terraji P. last name Henson
Teraji  P. Henson in a navy blue velvet Alberta Ferretti.
Recall that Teraji won our award for Worst Dressed on the Grammys carpet last week. I think that |Teraji did great job of Redeeming herself this time on the Oscars carpet. Teraji is 46, has a 22 year old son in  college, stared in Hidden Figures and is slaying as Cookie Lyon in the hit series Empire. This woman is nothing less than fabulous and shes winning at life. Go girl, you rock!
Karlie Kloss in Stella McCartney
This dress looks very much the white Oscar dress Gwyneth Paltrow wore at the 2012 Oscars.
Karlie is one of the celebrities who  had that light blue ribbon pinned to their dresses in support of  the American Civil Liberties Union ACLU
Michelle Williams in Armani
There's nothing really wowing or artistic about this look except the fact that she stuck to her roots by maintaining  her short hair

Nicole Kidman in Armani Prive
My question is, Is this lady a living statue? My God! This is pure elegance, I love love love...

Charliz Theron in Dior. Permit me to say that this look is boring that's all. bye girl.

Halle Berry  in Atelier Versace
This is slythly underwhelming for me because it looked better on the runway model than it those on her, and that hair tho, I mean Halle is an icon, I expected more from her.

Jessica Biel in Kaufman Franco and Justin Timberlake in head to toe Gucci

Viola Davis in Armani
This is how you dress for an award especially when you know you're winning. This look is classy, elegant and everything beautiful, I mean her skin tone is everything.

Dakota Johnson in Gucci.
I wouldn't say she looks amazing because understanding this dress is harder than understanding quadratic equation for me pls. On top of everything, that neck piece which made the whole thing more confusing was reportedly guarded by over 20 bodyguards. I Know Right!

Brie Larson looks incredible in this strapless Oscar de la Renta gown and Aquazzura  shoes.
I think she looks amazing, and I like the fact that she ditched the neck piece, something most ladies wont do, giving us simple elegance.

Emma Stone wowed in this Givenchy Haute Couture giving us nothing but pure elegance and we\re in love.
Emma won her 1st Oscar  that night as Best Actress in a lead role in La La Land
Ryan Goslin
Best actor nominie for his role in La La Land. Tho Ryan didn't win but this outfit did it for me. I'll wear ruffles all day errday.

Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad and hubby John Legend. They look totally breathtaking.
This couple look genuinely happy and they are one of Hollywood's favorite couple of all time. I'll say they deserve it.

Ruth Negga in Valentino
I don't particularly feel this look, but I think she's an incredibly talented and beautiful girl. Negga was nominated for best actress in a leading role for her role in Loving

Octavia Spencer in Marchesa.
She looks really nice and beautiful but I'd have preferred if the dress had an elbow length sheer sleeve of the same color.

Jenelle Monae in Elle Saab
This dress looks real itchy and very uncomfortable, but E's fashion police named her the best dressed of the night because it's a ball gown and it describes the night. Well, over hear, my anomymous panel thinks she really looks good except that she has too much going on, and I couldn't agree more.

Mahershala Ali in Emenigildo Zegna
Simply chic and dapper. he won best supporting actor for his role in Moonlight

Chris Evans Looking dapper in this blue ensemble

Casey Affeck
Best actor in a lead role winner for his role in Manchester By The Sea. He's the younger brother of Ben Affleck

Mariah Carey at the Oscar Vanity Fair party.
Reports had it tht Mariah suffered a nipslip in her dress. I said "why won't she? when you wear a dress that makes your boobies scream for help, you don't get anything less than a wardrobe malfunction.

Naomi Harris in Calvin Klein
This girl never does wrong in my eyes cos she's such a fashionista with an amazing taste. But I'd have loved it if this dress was a gown, like covering the whole leg (Ground legth)

Hailee Steinfeld in Ralph and Russo couture.
I'd say this like Guilina Rancic, I dare you to find something wrong with this look.
This look is fresh, fun, young and just right.

After such a long line of beautiful and handsome looks, I think we should get straight to the point.
Almost all the stars were on top of their game but sadly we only have one best dressed and one worst dress.Fashion
Our best dressed of the 2017 Oscars is Hailee Steinfeld. Her see through floral printed sheer is just right for her age and body.
The worst dress of the night is of cause Charliz Theron. That dress is a mess, this is a typical example of Dior gone wrong.

That's our take people. Kindly stick around for our edition of AMVCA Red Carpet Fashion Police special. Have a blessed day.
